Narrative
Mr. Davis has been working in the areas of data analysis and computer programming since
his undergraduate days. He has worked for the Division of Government Research(DGR) at UNM
since 1978. During this time he has done extensive work in the analysis of traffic crash
data , other highway data, and also health care and public health information. He has also
been responsible for the design and application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to
those types of data. The continued development of DGRs GIS system, including a
system for automated text placement, and the integration of various kinds of data with the
GIS system have been his primary technical responsibilities. He has also performed most of
the managerial and client consulting duties of DGR since 1994.
